The Fund

We are the nation's largest organization assisting our country's best advocacy groups, like Environment California, Sierra Club, the Federation of State PIRGs, and Human Rights Campaign. We're running 40 offices coast to coast on issues like protecting our last wilderness, reducing global warming pollution, and defending GLBT rights.

Environment California:

Is the largest state-based environmental group in California. Right now we're working to fight global warming. We need to cut global warming pollution now. The good news is Governor Schwarzenegger is finalizing California’s plan to cut global warming pollution this year, but unfortunately special interests want us to stay dependant on dirty energy like coal and oil. So we’re calling on the Governor to get polluters to put $1 billion towards global warming solutions, like wind and solar power.

Our staff build public support in communities through fundraising, membership building, education, and petition gathering to pass laws that will protect our environment.
