McGrath/Power is seeking a highly motivated, multi-task oriented person to support the Director of Finance & Operations in a variety of areas. You’ll get to be involved in agency operations, human resources, agency marketing and finance. The right candidate will have a “can-do” attitude, an outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication skills, solid computer skills, and enjoy the excitement of balancing a variety of responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment. They will also have a polished professional demeanor in person and on the phone, be proactive and self-driven, and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Essential Job Functions Include:
*Assist with computer generated client billing
*Create multiple client time/revenue/expense reports for review against budgets and billing
*A/R and A/P processing
*HR assistance with job ad creation, attendance at local career fairs, new hire orientation including benefit enrollment and training
*Plan staff events
*Book travel
*Calendaring
*General office, including phones, mail, supplies, light IT support
*Creation of graphically appealing PowerPoint presentations
*Facilities management
*Ongoing relationship management with clients and vendor contacts
*Maintain office equipment
Qualifications
*Minimum 4-6 yrs full-time experience in an administrative role with at least 3 years (full-time) in a professional services organization (i.e. legal, public relations, accounting, advertising, consulting)
*Minimum 1 years experience in an HR support role
*General accounting experience (billing, payables, receivables); knowledge of QuickBooks helpful but not required
*Past experience in a role requiring confidentiality of information
*Must be a self-starter
*Strong organizational skills
*Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in an environment where priorities can quickly change
*Strong attention to detail
*Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating at an executive level
* Must be computer savvy and have solid internet research skills
*Advanced in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Filemaker
*Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, graphic design a plus
*Interest in social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace helpful but not required
*Positive, friendly attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
*Sense of humor
*Must be dependable and reliable
*AA or BA degree
