Local filmmaker seeks cowriter for fleshing out 75 minute concept film about bicycle thieves into feature length screenplay. The concept film is in post-production with 50% of the score completed, but this is merely to pique investor interest an provide evidence for the solidity of the project. The genre is caper/adventure. If interested, we can talk more about a collaboration.

I will focus more on marketing the product and securing money from investors and you will focus on creating believable and memorable characters, a richly detailed setting based on Santa Cruz, dialogue that crackles, and suspenseful action scenes. I have a vision - I will provide the outline - but would love someone to bounce ideas off and vice versa as well as fill out the world of the movie.

There is no money in advance, but this will add greatly to your portfolio and if we click, the movie will go into production once money is secured and the script is finalized. Your services in exchange for deferred payment, but note this is a long term passion project. I don't plan to start shooting until Summer '09 at the soonest.
