JOB SUMMARY
Under supervision will protect people and property and reasonably act to prevent and minimize negative incidents before they occur. Will observe activities and involvements as they transpire and reporting observations and results after they occur. Will assist property supervisor in maintaining a clean environment and will assist events staff as needed to prepare for daily events.

The position is in downtown San Francisco and is conveniently accessible to both BART and MUNI.

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work 3 shifts, 7am-3pm,3pm-11pm and graveyard shifts, 11:00pm - 7:00am

Park facility services are in effect 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Library After-School Monitor (belmont)

Working under the direction of the Branch Manager and/or the Circulation Supervisor, the Library Monitor assists in the security and supervision of the Belmont Library. The main responsibility of the Library Monitor is to maintain safety, order, and security inside and outside of the library building, while maintaining a welcoming demeanor. In extreme behavior or criminal cases, the Library Monitor would act as a liaison, along with the Library staff, with the local police department.

This is an extra-help, non-benefited position, working 16 1/2 hours per week. The current vacancy is at the Belmont Library and the ideal hours of work are 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; and 1:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
