The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing TerraMai’s unique portfolio of reclaimed wood products to ensure they remain the most compelling in the wood industry. Duties include product management, new product conceptions and new product launches. All aspects of TerraMai’s product portfolio must adhere to the company’s founding commitment to sustainability.    <br>
<br>
Product Management<br>
•Help ensure TerraMai’s product portfolio remains the most compelling in the wood industry on an ongoing basis.  <br>
•Track product performance, based on sales, gross margin dollars and client feedback.<br>
•Update specs and pricing, as needed. <br>
•Assist with product promotional campaigns. <br>
•Ensure product samples are seductive, represent the product, align to TerraMai’s high-end, high-design market and build the unique TerraMai brand.     <br>
•Discontinue unavailable, under-performing or otherwise unnecessary products. <br>
<br>
Product Conception<br>
•Identify and vet potential new products that are highly profitable and build the unique TerraMai brand, based on market research, client feedback and TerraMai’s global sourcing. <br>
•Manage the planning cycle for all new products – from product conception to handoff to product development for prototyping and testing.  <br>
•Track industry and LEED product requirements as they apply to flooring, siding, panels, etc.  <br>

Product Launches<br>
•Set final specs and pricing in coordination with sales and operations.<br>
•Assist with creation of product launch campaigns, including creation of printed and online collateral, as well as product samples.   <br>
<br>
Sustainability <br>
•Ensure all aspects of TerraMai’s product portfolio adhere to the company’s founding commitment to sustainability and green building.    <br>
•Seek new, innovative applications for reclaimed woods, as well as new product applications for existing ‘waste’ products. <br>

Experience & Qualifications <br>
•BA or BS degree.<br>
•Minimum 3-to-5 years relevant experience.<br>
•Style sense, design interest and appreciation for luxury products.<br>
•Strong project management and execution skills. <br>
•Experience in an architectural/design firm, or a materials-related company, preferred. <br>

Excellent technical and presentation skills and a commitment to design excellence are a must.  A Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field is required.

Description:

HDR is looking for a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our growing International Architecture group in San Francisco, CA. The primary duties of the Interior Designer will include interior design for Healthcare and/or Hospitality related projects. Must have the ability to develop functional requirements and project design complexities. Requires substantial knowledge of interior design and planning principles, building and planning code requirements, specification preparation and organization, construction costs and methods and contract preparation and negotiation. Experienced in selecting interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and furnishings selections, lighting design, space planning, and detailing. Assignments have specified objectives and require the investigation of many alternatives. Works with clients on projects of any size. Requires the ability to direct work efforts of others, develop detailed design concepts, product contract documents, interpret ordinances, and interpret client needs. Writes specifications covering interior design matters and performs code reviews. Coordinates work with other disciplines. May be assisted by other Interior Designers or technicians and is responsible for work in all phases of the Interior design process.

Experience Required:
<br>
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design. 
<br>
7+ years experience in Healthcare, Hospitality related projects. 
<br>
Strong FF&E experience. 
<br>
Proficiency with and experience using Microsoft office to include Project Schedule. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Photoshop required. 
<br>
Strong oral and written communication skills and experience working on large project teams. 
<br>
Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

•	Oversee Enovity’s energy efficiency program(s) and manage their development and implementation.
<br>
•	Assist with Program design and contract negotiations, particularly as it pertains to Program structure, implementation strategies, and overall team development.

Education and Qualifications:

BS or MS in Business, Project Management, or related area.

Experience:

At least five years of project/program management experience.  Experience managing commercial or industrial energy efficiency projects/programs preferred.

Enovity is currently seeking a highly motivated Technical Manager for a full-time position in our San Francisco office  This candidate will have exceptional ability in the identification and evaluation of energy efficiency projects in the commercial and/or industrial sectors and will have an exceptional understanding of at least four of the following: steam, hot water, boiler,  refrigeration, HVAC and lighting systems.
<br>

Responsibilities:
<br>
•	Technical expert and ‘Go To’ person for steam, hot water, boiler, refrigeration, HVAC and lighting system energy efficiency projects. 
<br>
•	Review, comment and approve technical deliverables including measurement and verification (M&V) plans, site scoping audit reports, detailed investigation reports, M&V reports.
<br>
•	Oversee a team of engineers to develop energy efficiency projects, performing the necessary tasks to take a project from initial identification and evaluation to installation and measurement and verification (M&V).  Be the technical lead and expert on more complex projects and provide technical support and review for less complex projects.  
<br>
•	Write and implement M&V plans to determine the baseline and post-installation energy performance, and oversee and QC the M&V plans of team engineers. 
<br>
•	Oversee the installation of monitoring and instrumentation on a range of different systems.
<br>
•	Perform analysis to calculate the energy savings associated with recommended projects, and oversee and QC the analysis of team engineers.   
<br>
•	Determine implementation costs for energy efficiency projects, and oversee and QC the cost analysis of team engineers.
<br>
•	Write clear and concise reports, and oversee and QC the technical quality of the deliverables produced by team engineers.
<br>
•	Develop and refine energy calculation tools, document templates and procedures.
<br>
•	Work with a team of engineers, customers and contractors to identify and then develop cost-effective energy efficiency projects that meet the customer’s financial and operational requirements and oversee engineers to help in the initial identification of measures and project approach.  
<br>
•	Work with a team of engineers, customers and contractors to obtain implementation proposals and review the project scope of work and technical proposal documents to make sure the project energy savings will be achieved upon implementation and customer operations are not negatively impacted.  
<br>
•	Assist in the sale of energy projects and presentation of the results to the customers to move projects toward implementation.  
<br>
•	Verify the efficiency projects are installed properly; resolve issues with contractors as needed to ensure best results and customer satisfaction.  
<br>
•	Perform energy efficiency design reviews for new construction commissioning projects.  
<br>
•	Write technical papers and present at conferences. 
<br>
•	Develop and train engineers, including teaching internal classes and developing training materials. 
<br>
•	Assist in the marketing of Enovity’s energy efficiency programs.

Education and Qualifications:

•	Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

•	California Professional Engineering license (P.E.) required

Job Summary <br>

Overview of responsibilities will include the following: <br>

• Budgetary responsibility for contracts ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000. <br>

• Lead teams of optical, mechanical and electrical design staff in developing and delivering state-of-the-art imaging systems for military and commercial applications. <br>

Qualifications <br>

• Candidate must have a solid track record with an engineering background or significant management experience in military programs. <br>

Works with department personnel and the MIS Department in determining the computer equipment and software needed to be productive and complete assignments.<br>

Travel as required for company business transactions.  Amount of travel could be extensive at times.  Could include, but not limited to, visits to all areas of Asia for meetings, visits to other facilities, visits to equipment suppliers and implant/instrument suppliers and training classes or seminars.<br>

Basic Qualifications<br>

A four year college degree in one of the engineering disciplines, with ten plus years of direct engineering/manufacturing experience, preferably in a electrical and mechanical, technology areas, audio, software, firmware expertise a plus.  Five of these years must be at a managerial level.<br>
<br>
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and effective interaction with personnel at diverse positions within and outside of the organization.<br>
<br>
Strong Project Management skills, Leadership and Management experience.<br>
<br>
Proficient with personal computers and associated software packages.<br>
Strategic decision making experience.<br>

Preferred Qualifications<br>

The Fire Prevention Officer performs analytical and scientific work to ensure compliance with the statutory requirements of regulatory agencies, including the State Fire Marshall, the Division of State Architect, the California Occupational Health and Safety Administration (Cal/OSHA), and county and city jurisdictions having regulatory authority.  The incumbent to this position will identify and evaluate conditions of existing fire and life safety systems to provide compliance with appropriate standards.
<p>
<b>RESPONSIBILITIES </b><ul>
<li>Develop, implement and maintain effective protocols and procedures for the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire and life safety systems in court buildings and facilities;
<li>Conduct inspection and report on condition of fire and life safety systems in court buildings and facilities to determine if the staff or the general public may be exposed to unsafe or unhealthful conditions;
<li>Perform liaison functions with all compliance agencies having jurisdiction of fire codes and regulations; 
<li>Develop and implement inspection, testing and maintenance guidelines, to ensure that all fire systems are initially installed and continue to operate as designed and are compliant with local jurisdictional requirements;
<li>Develop policies, procedures, and programs;
<li>Investigate, or assigns for investigation, complaints related to fire and life safety; 
<li>Work with contractors or consultants performing tasks involving fire and life safety system assessment to ensure timely and thorough completion; 
<li>Review construction plans and specifications to ensure appropriate fire life safety systems that meet local jurisdictional requirements are included in the court buildings;  
<li>Develop policies, procedures, and programs to minimize property loss resulting from fire, material handling or theft at projects during the course of construction;
<li>Develop educational programs related to fire life safety for judicial branch entities; 
<li>Attend and participate in staff and committee meetings; 
<li>Attend training as deemed appropriate for the work assigned; and
<li>Other duties as required.</ul>
<p>
<b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><ul>
<li>Major course work in fire science, engineering, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a closely related field.
<li>Seven years professional experience identify, evaluating, and controlling fire and life safety hazards in large public facilities.</ul>

<b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b><br>
Equivalent to possession of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with major coursework in engineering, geosciences, public health, industrial hygiene, urban planning, political science, government, occupational health or safety, or a closely related field, and three years professional experience identifying, evaluating, and controlling safety hazards in work places; or three years developing, evaluating, and implementing occupational or environmental health standards is required.

Additional directly related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.  Possession of a directly related postgraduate degree may be substituted for one years of required experience.

<description><![CDATA[We are an Architect led Design/Build company based in San Francisco seeking a unique individual with experience as a Residential Construction Project Manager. <br>

 Our projects are mostly San Francisco, high end residential, both new construction and remodeling. Our work is modern in approach, with an emphasis on refined details and craft.  We also have speculative residential projects where we are the Owner/Architect/Builder.   The architecture side of the firm is well established, award winning and widely published.  We need someone to help us grow the construction business to equal levels of success. Your primary responsibility will be to manage multiple residential construction projects on a daily basis.  We are architects and builders, with our own crew; we are not solely project managers.<br>

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 - 5 years experience managing construction projects with $500,000.00 to $2,500,000.00 budgets, and primarily residential projects.  A degree in Construction management would be ideal, but hands-on experience is more important.<br>
<br>
Demonstrable Experience:<br>
You need to know how to do labor and material take off’s from design drawings,  solicit bids from subs and suppliers,  estimate labor costs and assemble a bid in Excel; Prepare and monitor cost-tracking; Prepare project schedules; Assist in preparing contracts with owners and subs;  Order materials and supplies; Work with a site supervisor to schedule subs and materials and be familiar with all task related to managing a construction project.  You need to be computer literate and familiar with MS Word, Excel, etc. and very familiar with construction management spread sheets. Some CAD experience (we use Mac based Vectorworks) would also be helpful.  A bit of architecture training and/or hands on construction experience would be a very big plus but is not required.  Our projects are custom, so the ability to understand and budget for creative detailing is a must. <br>

The incumbent will perform engineering support and maintenance of new hyperpolarized Magnetic Resonance hardware and facilitate research in this area.  Additional responsibilities to include the following:  maintain and advance high-field NMR systems and related instruments; perform the supply ordering and equipment maintenance for the DNP facilities; hardware electronic testing; development of new methods for hyperpolarized MRI research; collaborate research with other MR investigators and students; and perform other duties as assigned.<br>

Requires a college degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; training in constructing and repairing electronic instruments; electrical and mechanical engineering skills are required with the ability to construct basic electrical and mechanical devices along with sheet metal skills; computer literacy with working knowledge of analytical software tools; and xcellent verbal and written communication skills.  Prefer training in scientific instrumentation especially NMR related; cryogenic and vacuum systems; and experience with Computer Assisted Design (CAD).<br>

Must also be able to prepare and review conceptual estimates on multi-million/billion dollar projects using past experience, historical data, and parametric estimating ratios. Must be able to assess risk and adjust prices accordingly; as well as advise our clients on risk mitigation, value engineering, market trends and otherwise act as our clients’ cost advisor. Must be able and willing to assist marketing department in business development activities. <br>

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, superior technical expertise in all types of estimates, and ability to manage the workflow and profitability of estimating teams are required for this position. A B.S. in Engineering/Construction Management or Chartered Q.S., minimum of   10 years related experience in large institutional projects (schools,  hospital, university, large office, etc.) and a strong knowledge of  MS Excel is required.
