ESSENTIAL DUTIES		<br>
1.	Directly hires, supervises and manages maintenance and custodial staff including preparation of employee evaluations and recommendations for discipline or promotions.<br>
2.	Responds to daily work orders/ maintenance requests/unit turns including:  plumbing - replace faucets and sinks, repair galvanized, PVC, ABS and copper plumbing lines. Trouble-shoot location of leaks and determine appropriate action. Intermediate understanding of operational principals and preventive maintenance of steam and water boiler systems. Understand basic operational principals and preventive maintenance of building fire systems (e.g. smoke detectors, flow valves, standpipes, fire alarm panels, sprinklers, etc.)<br>
3.	Carpentry: repair, hang or install windows, doors and door/window hardware. R & R and patch drywall and R & R kitchen cabinets and countertops.<br>
4.	Electrical: R & R switches/outlets, heaters, exhaust fans, ceiling fans and garbage disposals, ability to trouble-shoot common electrical failure. Ability to use an electrical meter and R & R defective circuit breakers.<br>
5.	Respond to building emergencies after hours (on-call schedule).<br>
6.	Report unusual occurrences or suspicious activities to supervisor.<br>
7.	Keep supervisor informed of maintenance problems.<br>
8.	Provide effective and courteous service to residents, guests and co-workers.<br>
9.	Conduct work tasks safely in compliance with safety rules.<br>
10.	Participate in annual unit inspections with the building General Manager.<br>
11.	Conducts monthly pest control inspection with pest control vendor.<br>

Key responsibilities of this role include: <br><br>
•	Assist the Director of Student Services, Director of Academic Affairs and other academic affairs department staff in increasing levels of student attendance and student satisfaction and improving overall student graduation rates. <br>
•	Help drive campus improvements in student retention and student satisfaction outcomes. <br>
•	Develop and maintain a bank of student services assistance options geared to student needs (e.g. referrals to child care, counseling, etc).<br>
•	Help coordinate campus efforts to assist students who have dropped in re-entering and continuing school. <br>
•	Help insure student services are matched to student needs. <br>
•	Help insure follow up actions based on student survey results, withdrawal data, and other sources of information to get at root causes for student withdrawals prior to completion and drive improvements in student satisfaction and retention. <br>
•	Help coordinate student activities (Orientation, Welcome Weeks, Student Appreciation days, etc). <br>
•	Assist with daily follow up on absent students. <br>
•	Help drive campus student activities and special events. <br><br>

To successfully fulfill this function, the following is required: <br><br>

•	Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. <br>
•	At least two (2) years experience in an academic environment as a student, instructor, dean, or staff member. <br>
•	Student/working experience at Heald preferred. <br>

oFor x-US registrations – the Product Registration Manager works closely with x-US AgraQuest staff, regulatory consultants, and/or business partners to prepare high quality regulatory submissions.

&#61607;For US submissions – the Product Registration Manger is the direct staff-level contact to EPA and States, responsible for tracking and monitoring progress, identifying and responding to questions.

Shop It To Me (www.shopittome.com), a small (under 10 employees),  hot startup in the online shopping space is looking for 1-2 smart developers to help us build our next generation shopping personalization engine.
<br>

The company is growing exponentially, has been described by Sara Lacy at Business Week as the "Twitter of Shopping Applications", and in just the last two weeks has been featured on NBC, MSNBC, CBS, and Fox news.    We are growing so fast, we now need a couple key developers to help us!
<br>

You'll be working in a fun environment in the start-up filled San Francisco South Park neighborhood with an all-star team which includes graduates and PhDs from Harvard and Berkeley and with backgrounds from Tell Me, Microsoft and Gap Inc...
<br>

We are limiting space to 1-2 amazing developers right now and we are extremely picky, so if you are interested, please check your requirements and follow the instructions below.

Required
<br>

<br>
* Thorough knowledge of Ruby and Ruby On Rails
<br>
* Solid understanding of object oriented design and patterns
<br>
* Understands web development languages and protocols (HTTP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript)
<br>
* Able to write scalable SQL
<br>
* Enjoys working on a small, quick-moving team of high quality.
<br>
* Takes pride in the quality of his/her work and the work of his/her team.
<br>

<br>
Considered a plus:
<br>

<br>
* Experience with capistrano, sphinx, god (the monitoring tool, not the deity), puppet.
<br>
* Java knowledge and experience
<br>
* Linux knowledge
<br>
* SMTP, spam filtering, DomainKeys, and/or postfix
<br>
* Experience and desire to scale a web/email service
<br>
